The Pascagoula Public Library and the City of Pascagoula will host a book signing with local author Daisy Karam-Read on Friday, December 3, at 5:00 p.m. in the library lobby.
At the book signing, Daisy will be signing her newest book "The Love affair Continues: From Manhattan to Mississippi- part 2" and "Mississippi to Manhattan," which will be available for purchase at the Pascagoula Public Library.
Both books are a collection of personal observations on Mississippi and the Deep south. Daisy moved to Mississippi from New York City in 1998. her newest volume continues the story of what happens when the ultimate urbanite moves to a small town in Mississippi.
Earlier this year, Karam-Read was featured as a guest author on the Thacker Mountain Radio Show broadcast on Mississippi Public Broadcasting.
